Sheehy Motor Group is currently recruiting for a Group Human Resources Manager who will be responsible for the operational and strategic management of the Human Resources function across multiple sites. The position is part of the Management Team and will be primarily based in Naas, but the successful applicant will be required to travel to other sites as required. 

The Group Human Resources Manager will facilitate the business growth strategy and vision through its people and ensure a culture that drives excellence, high performance, and inclusivity by driving a people and culture framework that maintains a high-performance environment. The ideal candidate will exhibit an ability to maintain confidential information in a professional manner; demonstrated ability to produce results, ability to prioritise and perform a variety of tasks and a proven ability to work under pressure. 

This senior leadership role will be responsible for all aspects of the Human Resources function, with a particular focus on:

  • HR Policy & Procedures
  • Recruitment and Talent Management
  • Performance Management
  • Coaching and Development
  • Employee Engagement & Retention
  • Employee Relations
  • Statutory Compliance
  • ISO Compliance
  • Health & Safety 

Candidate Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in a fast-paced HR environment as a HR Manager
  • A proven track record of successfully implementing a HR strategy and HR functions across all areas of the business
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate staff members
  • A primary degree in Human Resource Management or a relevant discipline
  • An active CIPD member would be beneficial but not essential
  • A commercially minded individual
  • Expert knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
  • Experience with the Cezanne Digital HR platform would be advantageous
  • Prior experience of working in the Irish Motor Industry would be a distinct advantage
