Sheehy Motor Group is proud to announce the expansion of our operations with the launch of a brand-new Mercedes-Benz dealership-and we’re offering a rare and exciting opportunity for an Experienced Service Manager to join us from the very beginning.

This role isn’t just about running a department—it’s about building one. You’ll play a key leadership role in establishing our service operations at an initial temporary location in Waterford City, before moving into a purpose-built, state-of-the-art dealership in Kilkenny. 

Your Role:
As the Service Manager, you will be responsible for delivering the exceptional standards of service expected from Mercedes-Benz. You’ll lead, grow, and shape a high-performing service team, develop streamlined processes, and ensure that every customer experience reflects the excellence of the brand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the setup and day-to-day management of a premium Mercedes-Benz service department
• Lead, inspire and grow a strong aftersales team
• Design and implement efficient service workflows and procedures
• Monitor and drive service performance, efficiency, and profitability
• Ensure consistent delivery of premium customer service
• Collaborate with other departments to achieve dealership-wide objectives
• Monitor KPIs and maintain compliance with Mercedes-Benz standards 
  

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 4–5 years’ experience in an automotive Service Manager role (Mercedes-Benz or prestige brand experience preferred)
• Strong, demonstrable leadership skills and a hands-on management style
• A customer-first mindset and commitment to service excellence
• Proven ability to set up and improve service operations
• Excellent knowledge of service KPIs, systems, and dealership standards
• Flexible and proactive—comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
