Rugby World Cup Fever Hits Sheehy Motors Volkswagen

A large crowd turned up at Sheehy Motors Volkswagen (Naas) on Thursday evening last, for their 2023 Rugby World Cup Roadshow event.

RTE pundit and former Irish international, Bernard Jackman was the MC for the proceedings with a stellar guest panel including former rugby professionals, Dave Kearney, Jenny Murphy and Johne Murphy.

Jackman kicked off the night with a brief Q&A session with representatives from local side, Naas RFC, before introducing the star panellists to the audience.

The 2023 Grand Slam Six Nations Trophy and Triple Crown each held pride of place at the event also! On display in the Sheehy Motors showroom were the latest ‘241 Volkswagen electric range such as the hugely popular ID. Buzz and the all new ID. 3 model.

​​​​​​​The event also raised much needed funds for the IRFU Charitable Trust which helps support seriously injured players. Greg Hanlon, Volkswagen Brand Manager at Sheehy Motors Naas, commented, “This is our first customer showroom event for a few years, so we are absolutely thrilled with the turnout.
